Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese on top.
Add the diced bell peppers, sliced black olives, minced onion, and your choice of cooked sausage or pepperoni.
For a fresh twist, top with chopped spinach and sun-dried tomatoes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
Let it rest briefly before garnishing with fresh basil leaves.
