Why you should not store fresh eggs in the refrigerator?

Some foods aren’t necessarily meant to be refrigerated. But often, we prefer not to risk bacteria growing or we’re afraid that the food will go bad.

Eggs are of animal origin, and bacteria like salmonella can grow in them. So why is it recommended not to refrigerate eggs?

Eggs are part of many people’s daily diet, and we are led to buy them very often.

Whether it’s a hard-boiled egg or to prepare an omelette, most of the time, the reflex is to put them in the refrigerator, to avoid any risk of food poisoning and proliferation of bacteria.
