Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined.
Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish to form the base.
Pour the caramel sauce evenly over the graham cracker base.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips and toffee bits over the caramel layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is melted and the edges are lightly golden.
Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Variations & Tips
For a nutty twist, you can add a layer of chopped pecans or walnuts on top of the caramel before adding the chocolate chips. If you’re catering to a crowd that loves a bit of salt with their sweet, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the chocolate layer before baking. For those who prefer a less sweet version, try using dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. You can also experiment with different types of cookies for the base, such as digestive biscuits or shortbread, for a unique flavor.
