👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Get the Apples Ready 🍎
Peel, core, and grate the apples using a box grater. Set them aside—they’re the stars of this recipe!

  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients 🥣
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. These spices will give your pancakes that irresistible warm aroma.

  3. Stir the Wet Ingredients 💧
In another bowl, beat the egg, then add the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter or oil. Mix until well combined.

  4. Combine Everything 🌀
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Gently mix until just combined—don’t overmix! It’s okay if the batter looks a bit lumpy.
Now fold in the grated apples.

  5. Time to Cook 🔥
Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
Scoop about ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the pan.

Cook for 2–3 minutes on one side, until bubbles form on the surface. Flip and cook for another 1–2 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. Serve and Enjoy 🍽️
Serve warm with maple syrup, a dusting of powdered sugar, or a dollop of whipped cream. Add extra apple slices or chopped nuts on top for an extra treat!

🍴 Tips & Variations:

  • For extra fluffiness: Let the batter rest for 5–10 minutes before cooking.

  • Make it heartier
