For storage up to 5 days, place the wrapped cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Note however that the cold can slightly alter its soft texture, so it is advisable to let it return to room temperature before tasting it, or to reheat it briefly in the oven.
Freezing (for longer storage):
To store the cake for longer (up to 3 months), cut it into individual slices, wrap each slice in cling film, then place them in a freezer bag.
When defrosting, let the slices sit in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight, then let them come to room temperature or reheat them slightly to regain their softness.
