Brown the Good Stuff
In a large skillet or pot, cook your ground beef, diced bell pepper, and onion together. Season with a sprinkle of Slap Ya Mama.
Once browned, drain off any grease and set the mixture aside. -
Boil the Mac
Cook the elbow macaroni as directed on the package. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking and keep it from getting mushy. -
Simmer the Sauce
In a large pot over medium heat, add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, puree, corn, garlic, and basil. Bring to a light boil, stirring occasionally. -
Combine It All
Once the sauce is bubbling, stir in your ground beef mixture. Simmer everything together for 10 minutes. -
Add the Pasta
Stir in the cooked macaroni and let it all mingle for another 5 minutes on low heat. -
Serve It Up!
Dish it out hot—and don’t forget the Parmesan on top if you’re feelin’ cheesy. 🧀
