Old-School Spaghetti

  1. Brown the Good Stuff
    In a large skillet or pot, cook your ground beef, diced bell pepper, and onion together. Season with a sprinkle of Slap Ya Mama.
    Once browned, drain off any grease and set the mixture aside.

  2. Boil the Mac
    Cook the elbow macaroni as directed on the package. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking and keep it from getting mushy.

  3. Simmer the Sauce
    In a large pot over medium heat, add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, puree, corn, garlic, and basil. Bring to a light boil, stirring occasionally.

  4. Combine It All
    Once the sauce is bubbling, stir in your ground beef mixture. Simmer everything together for 10 minutes.

  5. Add the Pasta
    Stir in the cooked macaroni and let it all mingle for another 5 minutes on low heat.

  6. Serve It Up!
    Dish it out hot—and don’t forget the Parmesan on top if you’re feelin’ cheesy. 🧀
