1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper until combined.
3. Brush each pork chop with olive oil on both sides, then rub the Parmesan garlic mixture over all sides of the pork chops.
4. Place the seasoned pork chops on a greased baking sheet or in a large oven-proof skillet.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
6. Remove from the oven and let the pork chops rest for 3 minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute.
Variations & Tips:
For those who like a bit of a twist, feel free to add a sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes to the Parmesan garlic mixture for a spicy kick. Alternatively, if you’re looking for a gluten-free option, almond flour can make a wonderful substitute for the Parmesan, offering a slightly nuttier flavor profile. And for an earthy touch, a handful of finely chopped fresh rosemary or thyme mixed into the rub will infuse the pork with a delightful herbaceous note. Remember, cooking is not just about following recipes—it’s about making them your own.
