Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, water, and ketchup. Mix well using your hands until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased baking dish or loaf pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and a nice crust has formed on the outside.
Let the meatloaf rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Variations & Tips
For a different twist, try adding a handful of shredded cheese into the meat mixture before baking. If you prefer a bit of heat, some finely chopped jalapeños can be a welcome addition. To keep things on the moister side, consider incorporating a half cup of finely grated carrot or zucchini. And for those who enjoy a glaze, a mixture of ketchup, brown sugar, and a touch of mustard spread over the top of the meatloaf in the last 15 minutes of baking can add a delightful sweetness.
