Directions
1. Lay the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
2. Top each chicken breast with a slice of Swiss cheese.
3. In a small bowl, mix the condensed soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper. Pour this mixture over the cheese.
4. In another bowl, toss the stuffing mix with the melted butter until well coated. Sprinkle this over the soup layer.
5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
6. Serve hot, garnished with a touch of fresh parsley if desired.
Variations & Tips
For a bit of a crunch, you can add some slivered almonds to the stuffing mix before cooking. If you are fond of mushrooms, layer in some canned or fresh sautéed mushrooms between the chicken and cheese. For those who prefer a lower carbohydrate option, replace the stuffing mix with a cauliflower rice mixture seasoned similarly.
