How To Remove Stubborn Stains From Clothing and Linens

🍷 3. Wine Stains

You’ll Need:

  • Salt

  • White vinegar

  • Laundry detergent

How to Remove:

  1. Blot with paper towel to soak up excess wine.

  2. Cover the stain with salt and let sit for 5 minutes.

  3. Rinse with cold water, then apply vinegar and laundry detergent mix.

  4. Wash on a cold cycle.


🩸 4. Blood Stains

You’ll Need:

  • Hydrogen peroxide

  • Cold water

  • Salt

How to Remove:

  1. Rinse under cold running water ASAP.

  2. Apply hydrogen peroxide directly and let it bubble.

  3. For delicate fabrics, use a salt-water paste.

  4. Rinse thoroughly and launder.

You’ll Need:

  • Rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer

  • Cotton swabs

How to Remove:

  1. Place a towel under the stain to absorb ink.

  2. Dab rubbing alcohol with a cotton swab on the spot.

  3. Let sit 5–10 minutes, rinse with cold water, then launder.
