5. Clean with a spatula or scraper:

After the soap has taken effect, use an oven scraper or plastic spatula to scrape away softened residues.

Make sure you work gently so as not to scratch the surfaces of the oven.

6. Rinse with clean water:

Use a cloth or sponge soaked in clean water to rinse the surfaces of the oven and remove any remaining soap and dirt residues.

You will need to apply various passes to thoroughly clean.

7. Dry and evaluate the result:

Dry the surfaces well with a dry cloth and evaluate the result. If necessary, repeat the cleaning process to remove any remaining residues.

8. Periodic cleaning:

To keep your oven clean, do this cleaning with Marseille soap periodically, especially after cooking fatty dishes or in any case when you notice that burnt residues are formed.
If you don’t have Marseille soap

An excellent alternative to Marseille soap is baking soda. Mix a few tablespoons of baking soda with water, until you get a spreadable paste. Apply this paste evenly to the inner surface of the oven, focusing on the areas with burnt oil fouling.

Let the baking soda dough act for at least 30 minutes or more, so that it can act on the encrustations and soften them. After this time, use a sponge or damp cloth to gently remove the paste, along with the softened burnt oil. You may need to make some effort to completely remove the most stubborn accumulations.

Finally, rinse the oven thoroughly with clean water and dry it with a dry cloth.

In conclusion, Marseille soap is a natural and effective solution to remove burnt oil from the oven. Following this guide, you can keep your oven clean and in very good condition without the use of aggressive chemicals.
