Garlic Butter Steak with Rigatoni

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or strip steak), cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • For the Rigatoni:

  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta

  • 4 cups water

  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • Prepare the Rigatoni
  • Fill a large pot with 4 cups of water
  • Add 1 teaspoon of salt
  • Bring water to a boil
  • Add rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente
  • Drain pasta and set aside
  • Cook the Steak
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  • Season steak bites with paprika, salt, and pepper
  • Add steak to the skillet in a single layer
  • Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown
  • Remove steak from skillet and set aside
  • Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • Lower skillet heat to medium
  • Add butter to the skillet
  • Once melted, add minced garlic
  • Cook garlic for 1 minute until fragrant
  • Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce slightly thickens
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste
  • Combine Pasta and Steak
  • Add cooked rigatoni to the garlic butter sauce
  • Toss pasta to coat evenly with sauce
  • Return steak bites to the skillet
  • Gently toss pasta, steak, and sauce together
  • Serve
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley
  • Add extra Parmesan cheese if desired
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
