Ingredients
For the Crust
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 large egg
For the Filling
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 large eggs
4 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions and Methods

Step 1: Prepare the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Mix until a dough forms.
Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
Step 2: Make the Filling
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until the filling is creamy and lump-free.
Step 3: Assemble and Bake
Pour the filling over the crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and slightly firm to the touch.
Remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely in the pan.
Step 4: Slice and Serve
Once cooled, cut the bars into squares or rectangles for serving.
Dust with powdered sugar for a decorative touch, if desired.
