Recipe: Best French Dip Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 1 package (12 count) slider buns
  • 1 pound thinly sliced roast beef
  • 6 slices provolone cheese, halved
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for brushing

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Layer the thinly sliced roast beef on top of the bottom halves of the slider buns.
  4. Place a half slice of provolone cheese on top of each pile of roast beef.
  5. Place the top halves of the slider buns on top of the cheese to complete the sandwiches.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat until warmed through.
  7. Pour the warm au jus evenly over the assembled sliders in the baking dish.
  8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the sliders are heated through and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove the foil from the baking dish and brush the tops of the sliders with melted butter.
  10. Return the sliders to the oven and bake, uncovered, for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
