First, it’s not just about taste. Keeping your food at a safe temperature (above 140°F or 60°C) helps prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. So whether it’s a creamy mac and cheese, cheesy mashed potatoes, or garlic butter steak bites, keeping it warm ensures your dish is both delicious and safe to eat.
1. Use Aluminum Foil and Towels (The Home Cook’s Hack)
One of the easiest and cheapest tricks is wrapping your hot dish in a few layers of heavy-duty aluminum foil, then bundling it in thick towels or blankets.
