✨ Ingredients
For the pastry shells (choux pastry):

1 cup water

½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

4 large eggs

¼ tsp salt
For the creamy filling:

1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 ½ cups cold milk

1 cup heavy cream
-
¼ cup powdered sugar
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional topping:

Powdered sugar, for dusting

Chocolate sauce or melted chocolate, for drizzling

👉 Make the shells:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a saucepan, bring water, butter, and salt to a boil.

Add flour all at once and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon until mixture forms a smooth ball and pulls away from the sides.

Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition (this is key for that fluffy rise!).

Drop rounded tablespoons (or pipe) onto the baking sheet, spacing apart.
